Nowadays, with the development of LED industry, its technology continues to be mature and has widely applied at home and abroad. Comparing to mature markets in Europe and America, LED lighting industry also has been very popular in Southeast Asia Blue Ocean market. Currently, it has not been strictly required for indoor LED lighting product specifications and certification in the Southeast Asian market. The demand for most LED lighting products is still in its infancy. However, it has higher requirements for the street lights, especially has strict standards for municipal lighting projects and government procurement, for specifications and lighting effects of LED street lights. Therefore, LED manufacturers should improve LED street lights’ quality and performance, to enhance the competitiveness of their products, and be more conducive to enter the market.
There are certain rules to follow on the requirements of street lights, such as quality, performance and price. The most commonly used LED street lights in Southeast Asian market is around 60-240W, based on 100lm/w light efficiency. Also it requires protection grade IP65 or above. And prices are different for different projects. From these, we can know that LED street lights manufacturers must distinguish product categories, different prices and specifications for different cases, to provide the appropriate products in accordance with customer’s bid demand in the sales process. In addition, since it is a tropical climate in Southeast Asian, which is hot and rainy throughout the year, it also requires quite highly for cooling and waterproof and dustproof function.
For the basic performance test of LED street lights, Lisun developed LPCE-2(LMS-9000) Integrating Sphere Spectroradiometer LED Testing System, for identifying the performance of single LEDs and LED lamps. According to CIE127-1997, IES LM-79-08 and IES LM-80-08, it recommends to using an array spectroradiometer with integrating sphere to test SSL products. The LPCE-2(LMS-9000A) also can do the LED optical maintenance test such as Flux VS time, CCT VS time, CRI VS time, Power VS time and so on which is meet LM-80. It can test LED lamps for CCT, CRI, Spectrum, Lumen, lumen efficient, power, power factor, current and voltage and so on which is meet LM-79.
According to CIE, IEC, LM-79, GB etc. domestic and international standards, Lisun developed LSG-1890B/LSG-1800A high precision rotated luminaire goniophotometer, for testing the spatial luminous intensity distribution and various photometric parameters of all kinds of LED luminarie, LED street lights, indoor and out door lightings. It can test parameters such as spatial luminous intensity distribution curve, luminous intensity distribution curve on any cross-section, equal illuminance distribution curve, luminance limitation curves, zonal luminous flux, luminaries efficiency, glare rating, luminaries total flux, effective flux, coefficient of utilization and electrical parameters (power, power factor, voltage, current) and so on.
For the IP protection grade test of LED street lights, Lisun developed JL-X waterproof test system and SC series of dust chamber fully meet the IEC 60529 standard.
