IPX8 waterproof test equipment, its main function is to test the performance of products in the climate environment of rain, and it is mainly used to test the physical and other related performance of electronic electrical products, lamps, electrical cabinets, electrical components, automobiles, motorcycles and their parts and components under the simulated rain climate conditions. After testing, the performance of the product is judged to meet the requirements through inspection and verification, so as to facilitate the design, improvement, inspection and inspection of the product before leaving the factory.

IPX8 has many types of waterproof test equipment, also known as IPX8 immersion test equipment, which is a method of doing immersion test for products. 8 level waterproof is also a higher waterproof level. Submarine equipment usually needs to reach 8 level waterproof function.

IPX8 waterproof test equipment test is more stringent than IPX7 level, so pay special attention to the test process. IPX8 waterproof testing device is described in accordance with the national standard “GB 4208-2017 Shell Protection Grade IP Code” as follows: It can be manufactured according to user requirements and negotiated with the manufacturer.

Features of IPX8 waterproof test equipment:
The IPX8 waterproof test equipment can simulate the test test of 1-50 meters of water depth.
1. It is suitable for IPX8 waterproof level test of products.
2. The tank body is made of 304 stainless steel, with high-precision overall arc welding formed, and good bearing pressure.

3. The outer part is square structure, welded with stainless steel plate, humanized design: 45° Slant mode, button operation; the tank cover is of moderate height, easy to operate.
4. Special silicone sealing ring, good elasticity, not easy to damage.
5. Pressure display: imported pressure sensor, automatically control the test pressure in the tank, control accuracy: ± 0.002Mpa, sensor display accuracy: 0.001Mpa.
6. According to customer requirements, holes can be punched in the tank body for sample electrical testing (need to be specified in advance).
7. The size of the water tank is 600mm, the height is 1200mm, the pressure is 10 atmospheres or customized according to customer requirements.
8. In addition, there is a special transparent observation window (tempered glass material) on the door, LED lighting lamps are installed in the box for easy observation of the internal test conditions, and 4 casters with brakes are provided on the bottom of each device for easy movement and fixation.

Principle of working pressure test of IPX8 waterproof test equipment:
1. Pre-place the sample on the sample platform in the test tank;
2. Cover the lid, tighten the screws, set the test pressure and time, and start the device;
3. The sample platform with the sample stops in the air above the water surface, and increases the pressure on the water surface to the set value, and keeps the pressure. If there is leakage point in the sample, the air will be pressed into the sample cavity;
4. After the pressure is kept for a period of time, the sample is immersed in the water with the pallet;
5. After a short period of time, compress the air on the water surface; at this time, if the pressure in the bad sample is higher than the external pressure, gas will be discharged and leakage points can be observed by observing the air bubbles.

Principle of working vacuum test of IPX8 waterproof test equipment:
1. Pre-place the sample on the sample platform in the test tank;
2. Lock the lid, set the pressurization conditions, and start the device; the sample is directly submerged with the pallet, and the vacuum pump starts to work to evacuate the cavity;
3. If there is leakage in the sample, the air in the sample will be evacuated, and the leakage point of the sample can be observed by observing the bubbles. IPX8 waterproof test equipment can set the test time to about 10 hours, which is selectable.

What are the operating steps of IPX8 waterproof testing equipment?
1. Add water: Make sure the water pipe is connected; open the water inlet valve first, and then open the tap; observe the water level gauge and add it to the standard scale; then close the water inlet valve in time.
2. Open the lid of IPX8 waterproof testing equipment: After loosening all the bolts of the lid, press the cylinder switch, wait for the cylinder to lift the lid until it is fully open.
3. Load samples: Slowly put the determined test sample into the tank. If the sample floats, add weight;
4. Time setting: Set the test time (units: min) through the time relay, and start the test;
5. When the IPX8 waterproof testing device test is finished: When the set time is reached, the device automatically stops, and the exhaust solenoid valve is automatically opened to expel the air in the tank, and the test is completed; in addition, press the [stop] button during the test, the instrument starts to exhaust, and the test is stopped.
6. Open the lid: After automatic depressurization, please open the exhaust valve on the lid first to confirm the pressure in the tank is expelled. Only then can the lid be opened.
7. Take out the specimen: Please stand on the side of the device, and then take out the specimen from the side.
8. Check water quality: If the water quality in the tank of IPX8 waterproof testing device is not polluted, it can be used continuously; if the water quality is turbid, please replace the water in the tank in time, so as to facilitate the next test.

JL-X waterproof test machine is according to IEC60529:1989 +A1:1999 +A2：2013 《Degrees of protection provided by enclosures(IP Code)》, IEC60598, IEC60335 and IEC 60034-5, GB/T-2423.2, GB4208, GB7000.1. The JL-X includes the following test grades: IPX1, IPX2, IPX3, IPX4, IPX5, IPX6, IPX7 and IPX8 (Refer to page 51 of IEC60529). Immersion tank Waterproof test Device (JL-8): It is for IPX8 test. It can simulate a water depth of 0~50m. The water immersion tank diameter is 600mm and the height is 1200mm. The compressive stress is 10 atmospheres or design according to customer‘s request.
