IEC 60811-1-4 Clause 8.1 and 8.2 Low Temperature Winding Test Device

The LS-B39 Low Temperature Winding Test Device complies with standards such as BS EN 60811-1-4 & IEC 60811-1-4 Clause 8.1 and 8.2 (GB/T 2951.4 Clause 8.1 and 8.2), GB 2099-94 and VDE 0472. It is primarily used to assess and determine the performance of round cables or round insulated cores under low-temperature conditions.

This test is generally applicable to round insulated cores with an outer diameter of 12.5 mm or less and to sector-shaped insulated cores that cannot be prepared as dumbbell specimens. It is also suitable for round cables with an outer diameter of 12.5 mm or less, as well as flat cables with a short axis dimension of 20 mm or less. The number of winding turns ranges from 2 to 10. The cooling and test temperatures are determined according to the relevant cable product standards.
