LISUN JL-34CP Waterproof Test Chamber – After-sales Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

JL-XC series waterproof test chambers are mainly used for small electronic and electrical products such as lamps, electrical cabinets, electrical components and so one. It is used for physical and other related properties checking under simulated climatic conditions. It determines whether the performance of the product meets the requirements or not after the test. It is very useful in the design, improvement, verification and factory inspection of the product. The JL-XC waterproof testing fully meets IEC60598-1,  IEC60529:1989 +A1:1999 +A2：2013 《Degrees of protection provided by enclosures(IP Code)》, GB4208-2008 and GB7000.1.

Features:
• The outer casing is made of high-quality steel plate, and the surface is painted with paint which is beautiful and durable. The inner box, the turntable, and the wading part are all made of SUS304 stainless steel plate to make sure that it will not rust after using for a long time. (Inner box sheet thickness: 1.2mm, can handle the water pressure)
• IPX12: The compressed air drying function can remove the excess water in the drip tank after the test to avoid long-term water accumulation and fouling. (User need to provide air compressor)
• IPX34: The driver for the swing pipe adopts high-quality servo stepping motor, the swinging speed and angle are precisely adjustable. There is no out-of-step problem (the risk of out-of-step: it will cause the swinging tube to malfunction, hitting the middle turntable shaft, causing equipment damage)
• IPX56: It is with monolithic structure. The sray gun direction is adjustable and can be fixed. The operator only need to start the test but no need to carry the spray gun.
• The water supply line is equipped with a filter to filter impurities in the water to prevent nozzle clogging.
• The LED waterproof lighting is installed in the chamber, and there is a large observation window on the door to facilitate the observation of the test sample.
• The equipment equipped with a water tank for recycling water, no need building a professional waterproof test room. The water tank float valve in the water tank automatically controls the water inlet, and has high and low water level alarm monitoring to effectively prevent the pump from being damaged due to running out of water.
• The turntable uses a stepper motor, the speed can be set on the touch screen, and can control the forward and reverse rotation (suitable for the sample power-on test to prevent winding).
• Touch screen control function: Directly select the waterproof level on the self-developed IPX waterproof level test operation interface. You can run test according to the waterproof rating conditions in the standard terms easily.
• Test sample input power: single-phase 220V/10A (other specifications can be customized)
• Equipment power supply frequency: Default is 50Hz and 60Hz is also available (It is very important to confirm us your grid power frequency) 

 

Q1: After starting, I can hear the sound of the water pump, but no water comes out
A1: Please make sure that the voltage and frequency of the power supply connected to the equipment are consistent with those marked on the nameplate. If not, it will affect the water pump and even damage the equipment.
Air in the water pump will also affect the water pumping effect. Fill the water tank with water and start the water pump after the water enters the water pump.

Q2: Click Start, but the chamber cannot start the test, and the prompt is as follows

A2: Please return, and click ② and ③ to return the tube to the 0 degree position, and clear the test data of last time, and then click ① to start again.

Q3: During testing, the sample power cord is tangled?
A3: The turntable we designed will only rotate in one direction when the sample does not need power supply. When the sample needs power supply (click “Sample Power Supply” on the touch screen), the turntable will automatically change the direction of rotation every minute without causing the power cord to get tangled.

Q4: The needle get blocked
A4: For the first use, please clean the oscillating tube and the inside of the water hose before installing the needle. Use clean water as much as possible. If the filter element changes color after long-term use, please replace the filter element in time to ensure that no debris enters the oscillating tube. If the needle is found to be blocked, use the tool provided by LISUN to clear the needle and then reinstall the needle.

Q5: Turntable size and height
A7: In order to match the swing tubes of different sizes, we have a variety of turntable sizes, and the height can also be adjusted. Select the turntable of the corresponding size and adjust it to the appropriate height.

Q6: How to confirm test results?
A8: If the sample short-circuits and shuts down during the test, it is definitely not in compliance with the standard. If the sample can still start and run normally, you need to take out the sample, wipe off the moisture on the surface, and then open the sample to check whether there is water inside. If there is water, it is also not in compliance with the standard.
