Product No: EMS-ISO7637
The EMS-ISO7637 Automotive Electronics Transient Immunity EMC Testing System is developed by LISUN specifically for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) immunity testing of automotive electronic components. The purpose is to simulate common transient conducted interference in automotive power supply systems, providing standardized testing conditions for evaluating the operational stability of onboard electronic devices (such as ECUs, sensors and charging stations) in complex electromagnetic environments. The system integrates a multi-module waveform generator, an artificial network and CDN to accurately reproduce key transient pulses such as P1/P2a/P2b/P3/P4/P5 as specified in the ISO 7637 standard. It covers mainstream automotive voltage systems (12V, 24V, and 36V), meeting the electronic testing needs of passenger cars, commercial vehicles and new energy vehicles.
The EMS-ISO7637 Automotive Electronics Immunity Test System is equipped with a large English and Chinese touch screen which supports customized test processes. Built-in standard test templates can be called up with one click. It is also compatible with LISUN software in PC and run on Win7, Win8, Win10 and Win11. It can automatically record test data, draw curves and export reports, meeting the needs of the entire process from R&D verification to mass production quality inspection.

• LISUN’s corresponding instruments can be optionally configured for on-board electronic electrical performance testing, which fully complies with ISO 16750-2:2023 and corporate standards such as VW 80000 and GM 3172. For specific system configurations, please refer to the “ISO 16750-2:2023 On-Board Electronic Electrical Performance Test System“.
Applications:
• R&D Testing for Automotive Electronic Components: For on-board components such as ECUs (Engine Control Units), in-vehicle displays, and radar sensors, it simulates transient pulses on power lines as specified in ISO 7637-2 (e.g., P1 power-off pulses, P2a load dump pulses). This verifies the functional stability of components under voltage fluctuations, supporting the optimization of circuit immunity design during the R&D phase.
• New Energy Vehicle (NEV) Electronic Testing: For NEV on-board chargers (OBCs), DC-DC converters, and battery management systems (BMS), it conducts capacitive/inductive coupling immunity testing in accordance with ISO 7637-3 and GB/T 21437.3 standards. This ensures the safe operation of high-voltage systems in complex electromagnetic environments.
• Mass-Production Quality Inspection for Automotive Electronics: On production lines of automotive electronic components (e.g., sensors, connectors), it uses the system’s preset automated test procedures to quickly detect whether products meet immunity performance standards. This screens out non-conforming products and ensures consistent quality in mass production.
• Certification Testing by Third-Party Labs: It provides automotive electronics enterprises with immunity testing services compliant with ISO, IEC, and SAE standards, and issues authoritative test reports. These reports support products in passing supply chain access certifications from international automakers (e.g., Volkswagen, Toyota, BMW).
• Military Vehicle Electronic Testing: In accordance with the MIL-STD-461G standard, it conducts immunity testing on electronic communication equipment of military off-road vehicles and armored vehicles. This ensures the operational reliability of equipment in harsh electromagnetic environments, meeting the needs of the national defense and military industry.
• Verification of Automotive Electronic Components: For basic automotive components such as resistors, capacitors, and chips, it simulates transient interference from on-board power supplies to evaluate the components’ anti-aging and anti-failure capabilities. This provides data support for vehicle manufacturers to select high-reliability component suppliers.
