High and low temperature chambers are a type of environmental test chamber and widely used in various tests. It contains many kinds of products and is a necessary hardware experimental device to simulate products’ environmental adaptability under various environmental temperatures. It used to test the quality of electronic products, plastic products, metals, food, chemicals, building materials, medical, aerospace and so on, which can be said to be closely related to our daily life.
For example, the mobile phones we use in daily life are quick-response electronic products, which require very sensitive electronic components. At this time, a high and low temperature chamber is required to strictly select the electronic components. Although the cost will be partially lost by performing strict selection at the beginning, the service life of the electronic parts will gradually decrease due to temperature and humidity changes once it does not meet the requirements.
The 13 major structure features of high and low temperature chambers:
1. Exterior wall: Processed into shape by CNC machine tool, with round arc shape and beautiful appearance; A3 steel plate electrostatic spraying.
2. Interior wall: Processed into shape by CNC machine tool, SUS304 stainless steel mirror panel.
3. Heat insulation and insulation materials: Mineral wool is used to isolate the test chamber from the test chamber, achieving a small heat loss.
4. Exterior wall anti-sweat treatment: Silicone hair winding, constant thermal source to avoid dew.
5. A transparent window (220 × 320mm) is reasonably located on the chamber door for observing the changes of the sample in the room (with lighting lamp to keep the chamber bright), and the material of the observation window is high-quality multi-layer hollow tempered glass. The inner side of the glass has glue-adhered sheet conductive film, so that the staff can observe the sample conditions through the glass, and this material also has the advantages of transparency, insulation, explosion-proof, etc.
6. The air circulation system in the high and low temperature chamber uses a multi-wing centrifugal fan with low noise and strong air supply, which can avoid any dead corner in the test area and make the temperature and humidity distribution in the test area uniform. The designed air circulation can quickly stabilize the temperature and humidity when the test box is opened.
7. Double-layer high temperature and low temperature resistant high tensioned silicone seals are used for both test door and body to ensure the sealing of the test area.
8. With 1 test hole (50mm on the left side of the machine), test line or signal line can be externally used.
9. The refrigeration system is installed at the bottom of the working room, using high-quality compressors.
10. High-quality fixed PU mobile wheels are installed at the bottom of the instrument, and the instrument can be moved to the designated position and fixed conveniently.
11. The control system of the testing chamber equipment is almost installed on the right side of the equipment, including temperature controller, control switch, water tank, etc., which is easy to operate and maintain.
12. Bearing capacity of the bottom of the high and low temperature chamber: 200kg/m2 (average load).
13. The test space is equipped with double-layer sample frame and support shelf, which is suitable for inserting sample frames, and the height of the sample frame can be adjusted. Each layer of sample frame can bear 25kg.
The cooling characteristics and performance of high and low temperature test chambers:
Besides the components such as compressor, accumulator, condenser, dryer, the cooling system of high and low temperature chamber also includes several parts such as capillary, solenoid valve, evaporator, and pressure protection. Using a combination of mechanical cooling and liquid nitrogen cooling, the system is composed of two parts, each of which is a relatively independent cooling system, and the cascade cooling method is often used due to the low requirements for test temperature.
The test chamber is equipped with two sets of cooling compressors. If the temperature of the test chamber is not stable, one method can be used to detect it. The temperature instability is usually caused by insufficient refrigerant. Everyone can see the exhaust pressure and suction pressure of the compressor. If the pressure value of the equipment is low and the suction is taken away when the pressure is taken away, this is the volume problem of the refrigerant.
In addition, the exhaust pipe and suction pipe of the test chamber type compressor should also be checked. If the exhaust pipe temperature is not high and the suction pipe temperature is not low, the refrigerant needs to be added. If the temperature of the equipment in the test chamber is not stable, check whether the cooling compressor can be started during the operation of the test chamber. If it is started and used normally, it indicates that the main power supply is stable, and then check for electrical problems. If the electricity runs normally, the cause should be checked from the cooling system.
How to deal with hardware and software issues of a high and low temperature test chamber?
In the high and low temperature chamber, there are hardware configurations such as refrigeration compressor, relays and other refrigeration components. Then, our users can grasp the damage of the hardware configuration according to hearing and touch.
If it is a common fault of the refrigeration compressor, the noise of the refrigeration compressor will be abnormal or not start, or the temperature of the refrigeration compressor itself is far higher than the normal temperature, and the user is not easy to grasp the common faults of the relay and the common faults of the refrigeration components. Another control board’s damage and refrigeration assembly operation, electronic components damage will also lead to high and low temperature chamber is not cooling down.
These hardware configurations also have common failures. When the kinetic pairing of the high and low temperature chamber is not scientific, such as the installation of the heating output power is too large, when the heating components are damaged, it will immediately cause the air conditioning cooling capacity and heating capacity to be inconsistent. Although the air conditioning cooling capacity is large, the heating capacity is offset, and the heating capacity is far higher than the refrigeration capacity of the air conditioning, and the temperature seems not to be reduced.
The key of software common fault is the common fault of the control panel of the high and low temperature test chamber, including the main internal parameters, the control relay control points IS data signal out data signal and so on.
System anomalies refer to the original design concept of refrigeration unit is not very good, including the phenomenon of not cooling down due to refrigerant leakage, and the refrigerant leakage is caused by vibration or cold copper pipe welding and processing technology during transportation and operation of high and low temperature test chamber.
