The Salt Spray Test Chamber can be used to evaluate the salt spray corrosion resistance of materials and their protective coatings, compare the process quality of similar protective coatings, and evaluate the salt spray corrosion resistance of certain products. It is used for salt spray corrosion testing of protective layers of parts, electronic components and metal materials and industrial products.

1. Unpack the package, open the lid of the test chamber, install the spray tower in place, and place or hang the sample on the bracket;
2. Close the lid of the test box, and pour an appropriate amount of water into the groove around the lid to achieve a sealing effect.
3. Connect the back of the control box to the power supply.
4. Pour the prepared sodium chloride solution into the water tank on the back of the control box.
5. Pour distilled water into the saturated bucket through the water inlet on the back of the control box, and the saturated bucket should be filled with water.
6. Connect the output pipe (8 mm) of the air compressor to the port on the back of the control box. Adjust the control valve to make the pressure displayed under the pressure gauge up to about 0.1Mpa.
7. Connect the mist discharge pipe to the salt discharge hole, and put the other end into the sewer pipe.
8. Connect the drain pipe to the drain hole, and put the other end into the drain pipe;
9. Turn on the power.
10. Set the test time on the operation panel according to the test requirements.
11. According to the test requirements, set the test temperature and the saturation temperature respectively through the thermometer on the operation panel.
12. Set the spraying time and interval on the operation panel according to the test requirements.
13. Start the test, when the test temperature and saturation temperature reach the set value, it will start spraying.
14. After reaching the set time, the instrument will stop running.
15. Then press the “Demist On” button to discharge the mist into the outdoor test room.
16. Judge whether the sample is qualified according to relevant standards.
17.Turn off the power to the equipment and air compressor.
Notes:
1. The test requires distilled water.
2. The sample should be kept clean during the test.
3. If the machine is not used for a long time, all water should be drained from the saturated bucket through the outlet on the back of the control box.
