1. Integrating sphere testing is utilized to measure the optical parameters of a light source and its accessories in order to better understand and control the quality and performance of the light source. An integrating sphere is a miniature spherical optical environment which is lined with a reflective coating that has nearly ideal diffuse reflectance properties. Any position within the sphere is uniformly illuminated with an incident radiant flux that can be used as a reference standard. The integrating sphere aids in the release of the internal luminescence energy of the light source by collecting the specular and diffusely reflected light. Generally, a standard reflector (with known reflectance surface) is used to illuminate the speckle and diffuse reflection of the integrating sphere in order to avoid contamination of the sample surface. Usually, this enables the measurement of the reflectance ratio between the sample and the standard reflector, which is known as the sample’s reflectance. An LED lamp testing equipment can also be used to measure the luminous flux, luminous intensity, correlated color temperature, color rendering index, and even the attenuation rate of light within a certain specified wavelength range, among other optical-electrical parameters.

2. LED lamp testing equipment is an authoritative and effective device which can effectively detect color temperature, light flux, temperature in the ball and other colorimetric parameters of light source. 2. Using integrating sphere measurements can create an evenly illuminated object surface. The reason why it can achieve an even illumination is that some lamps are set on the inner wall of the integrating sphere, and the light emitted by the lamps is scattered after multiple diffusions to form a uniform and bright light-emitting spherical surface. The integrating sphere can be used to measure the vignetting coefficient of the photographic object lens and the uniformity of the image illuminance. Its field of view is more than 2w > 140 degrees, and the position of the exit pupil is basically the same as that of the entrance pupil.

3. Research shows that spherical parallel light pipes can be used for measuring attenuation coefficients of telescope. This device takes the round sphere as the parallel light pipe, opens two holes on the two end of the horizontal axis of the round sphere, installs a collimating lens in one hole, and puts a black plug in the other hole and a light-blocking tube to form a black body, then change a white plug to measure the attenuating coefficient of the telescope. This device measures the illuminance of the black body image and the “white plug” image through a photosensitive detector, and then obtains the breaking coefficient of the telescope. This can achieve fast and accurate attenuation coefficient testing, and provide strong support for the development of optical instrument technology.
