GLE-20 is an oil-salt two-in-one Face Masks Particulate Filtration Efficiency PFE Tester. According to ASTM F1862-17, ASTM F2299-03 (2017), ASTM F2100-2019, BS EN14683-2019, BS EN 14387-2004+A1 2008, BS EN 136-1998, BS EN 140-1999, BS EN 143-2000 +C1-A1, BS EN 149-2001+A1, etc. It is used to test the particulate filtering efficiency of daily protective masks and medical masks, and to determine the obstruction performance of ordinary fabrics and medical protective masks against a constant flow of airflow. It is widely used for medical device inspection centers, safety protection inspection centers, labor protection inspection centers, drug inspection centers, disease prevention and control centers, textile testing centers, hospitals, mask manufacturers, etc.

It is designed and manufactured according to YY0469-2004 “Technical Requirements for Medical Surgical Masks” and GB2626-2006 “Respiratory Protective Equipment Self-Suction Filter Anti-Particle Respirator”. Q1: About air compressor
A1: The equipment needs to use air compressor to generate standard air flow through commissioning for filtration test. The equipment itself does not include an air compressor, which needs to be prepared by the customer.

Q2: The small receipt is not printed clearly
A2: Please open the cover. Check the ink cartridge and printer voltage display. If the ink cartridge is sufficient, the voltage needs to be fine-tuned to check again.

Q3: Same settings are used, but the number of particles decreases
A3: After continuous testing for about 24 hours, the number of particles may decrease. It is necessary to remove the container and clean the solution inside. If there is dirt, please also clean it. Then prepare new solution.

Q4: The parameters settings are the same as before, and the DOP oil solution has been changed, but why is the DOP particle count still very low?
A4: When cleaning the DOP container, there is a steel pipe inside and it is connected to the external hose. See the marked position in the figure below. There are air holes on the steel pipe. Please clean all the air holes on the steel pipe and clean the blocked air holes. Then you will have enough DOP particles.
