Calibration distance

The actual distance of the darkroom is the distance from the center of the distribution photometer to the probe. Please refer to the darkroom drawing or take actual measurements.
The difference between the two distances should be controlled within 2% or less. If the difference is too large, the following steps may not be good enough:
a. The standard lamp is unstable. The calibration can be carried out only after the standard lamp is turned on and stabilized for 15 minutes.
b. The darkroom was not painted completely matte black. It may leak light or reflect light.
c. Hardware debugging is not well adjusted. Including host level, probe position and direction, gamma axis zero setting, etc.
d. During calibration, the adjustment of standard lamp direction is incorrect.
Please check the darkroom and refer to the instruction manual.

Q8: The DC sample lamp cannot be lit.
A8: Please make sure that the voltage and current of the sample lamp are within the limits of the DC power supply. For example, the maximum output voltage of DC3005 DC power supply is 30V, and the maximum output current is 5A.
If the sample needs a constant current power supply (CC), input its rated current value and a high enough voltage.
If the sample needs a constant voltage power supply (CV), input its rated voltage value and sufficient current.

If the sample is an asymmetric lamp, such as a street lamp,

Q11: Abnormal street lamp test curve
A11: The street lamp is directional. If the installation direction is wrong, it may cause some test parameters, such as the abnormality of the street lamp CU curve. As shown in the figure below, the correct installation direction, C0 direction, and the lamp pole of the street lamp should be toward the host of the distribution photometer.
