IP Waterproof Testing Device is a high-precision testing tool for testing waterproof performance, airtightness and sealing of products. It has the advantages of precise testing and fast speed.
I. Use of IP Waterproof Testing Device
IP Waterproof Testing Devices need to be combined with corresponding product molds for use. The waterproof testing requirements of mobile phones are relatively low. The requirements for molds are very particular, and the molds need to be closely fitted to the mobile phones. The waterproof level of civilian mobile phones is generally IP66. However, the waterproof level requirements of military vehicle accessories, military mobile phones, military radio equipment and lighting equipment are very high, and the waterproof levels of military products are generally IP68/IP69. Such waterproof levels are difficult to meet the requirements for most waterproof testing devices, so I have to use a customized military and industrial special waterproof testing device developed by Jincheng Technical Co., Ltd. For civil vehicle accessories and civilian household appliances and outdoor lighting products, there are no special requirements, and such waterproof levels generally meet the requirements of on-site use at IP66. Most of the requirements of LED underwater lighting products are required to reach IP68, which is close to the requirements of military and industrial products. For some special occasions and high standards, special testing instruments must be used for testing products.
II. Accuracy Requirements of IP Waterproof Testing Device
Accuracy is the primary condition for instruments, and IP waterproof testing devices are no exception. The accuracy unit of waterproof testing instruments is generally Pa. For example, the accuracy requirement of battery package waterproof testing is very high. Because of its large volume and relatively large internal space, when using IP waterproof testing device to test, since it only leaks a little air, the change of internal pressure is not obvious, so under the low accuracy, it is difficult to sense the change of pressure, and it is impossible to accurately detect the waterproof level of battery pool IPX6, IPx7.
III. Test Standards of IP Waterproof Testing Device
IPX3 waterproof test device selects an appropriate radius to place the swing pipe so that the sample table is at the diameter of the swing pipe. Place the test sample on the sample table and the distance from the top of the sample to the water spray outlet of the sample should not be greater than 200mm. Test conditions: water flow is calculated by the number of water outlets of the swing pipe, and each outlet is 0.07 L/min. When spraying water, the water outlets of the water in the swing pipe within the two 60° arc segments of the center point spray towards the sample. Place the tested sample at the center of the semi-circle of the swing pipe. The swing pipe swings 60° on each side of the vertical line, totally 120°, and the test time is 10 minutes of continuous water spraying. The spraying area is the water outlet of the swing pipe within the two 90° arc segments of the center point spraying towards the sample. Place the tested sample at the center of the semi-circle of the swing pipe. The swing pipe swings 180° on each side of the vertical line, a total of about 360°, and the test time is 10 minutes of continuous water spraying.

V. Requirements for IP Waterproof Testing Device

An airtightness waterproof detector which can achieve automatic testing and intelligent testing has attracted more attention from all aspects. 2. Positive and Negative Pressure Function of Waterproof DetectorWith the complexity of products, some products are not suitable for positive pressure detection, some are not suitable for negative pressure detection, and an integrated positive and negative pressure waterproof detector is the current market demand, which can be suitable for more complex IP waterproof testing.
3. Precision Requirement of Watertightness DetectorIn the unit of precision of airtightness detector, Pa is usually used. For example, the waterproof detection of bracelets requires a very high precision of waterproof detection instrument. Because of the small size and internal space of the bracelet, it is impossible to accurately detect the waterproof level of IPX6 and IPX7 by using the waterproof test instrument, as it only leaks a little air to achieve the balance of internal and external pressure.
4. Stablility Requirement of Waterproof DetectorThe stability of waterproof detector is related to the quality of product testing. Therefore, a good waterproof detector has better stability, which is an important technical indicator for it to occupy the market. It is important to ensure the stability of waterproof testing. The change of temperature and humidity will affect the sensitivity of the sensor, so the waterproof testing device should have a temperature compensation control system to prevent the change of temperature from causing the instability of testing.
