The IPX12 drip box consists of a Waterproof Test Equipment, a Waterproof Test Machine , etc. It uses the form of drip to carry out IPX1/2 waterproof test on the test sample. It is applicable to IPX1 and IPX2 waterproof grade test of products. Wall-mounted structure: the rack is fixed against the wall to ensure the smooth operation of the raindrops. The equipment frame is made of aluminum profiles, and the sample turntable is made of SUS304 # stainless steel plate to ensure that it will not rust after long use.
The test samples include, but are not limited to, electronic components, outdoor lamps, mobile phone shells, auto parts, etc., which adopt a column-type structure and are suitable for testing relatively large samples. The equipment base is equipped with four movable band brake casters, which are convenient to move and fix. The new operating system is more remote and convenient.
The raindrop plate adopts vacuum design and is made of high rust-proof stainless steel. The raindrop plate has automatic lifting; The rain flow meter is equipped with a regulating valve for manual adjustment.
The outer frame of IPX12 is composed of four aluminum columns. We choose high-quality aluminum alloy material, which is lighter in weight and will not be too heavy to carry. In addition, the aluminum material has good corrosion resistance and is not easy to rust. The four columns of the testing machine are equipped with casters, which can be fixed or moved, making the equipment run smoothly, convenient for packaging and transportation, and saving installation and handling time. Customers do not need to worry that the testing machine does not meet the size of the test sample, because our waterproof test instrument can be customized according to customer requirements, regardless of the size of the raindrop plate or the overall frame size of the testing machine, can be customized for enterprises.
From the top to the bottom, the top of the test machine is controlled by the electric hoist, and the lifting is controlled by the electric hoist. There is no need to be afraid of the danger caused by the falling of the raindrop. There is a water conduit directly above the raindrop plate, and the water flows directly to the raindrop plate, which can make the rain on the raindrop plate uniform. The drip plate connected to the water conduit is made of stainless steel. The drip plate is evenly distributed with drip holes (each hole diameter is 0.4mm, designed in strict accordance with GB4208 standard), which can simulate the rain scene, making the rain area of the test sample more uniform and comprehensive.
In addition, a layer of stainless steel mesh protective net is installed under the raindrop plate, which effectively prevents the operator from being injured by accidentally touching the needle during operation. In addition, an infrared sensor is installed 200 mm below the side of the raindrop plate. The reason for this design is that the distance between the raindrop plate and the sample is to meet the standard requirements – making the sample rain area more uniform. The function of the infrared sensor is to make the nozzle located at the position of 200mm of the tested sample, the infrared ray will transmit information to the system after receiving the obstruction induction, and the raindrop plate will automatically stop to prevent damage to the object or injury to the operator.
IPX1 waterproof test operation skills:
1. After plugging in the power switch, press the red button on the operation panel to start the control system; Then connect the water pipe for IPX12 drip box;
2. The testing machine shall be placed on the flat ground, and the movable casters at the four corners of the bottom of the testing machine shall be fixed to prevent the displacement of the testing machine during the testing process;
3. Place the sample on the turntable; Bind and fix the sample on the turntable with a tie to prevent the sample from shifting during the test and causing incorrect test values;
4. Adjust the height of the turntable so that the distance between the test sample and the needle is 200mm;
5. The turntable can rotate during the test, and the tilt of the turntable is 0 ° or 15 °; The rotation speed of IPX1 turntable is 1 r/min.
6. On the operation panel, select IPX1 drip test program and start IPX1 drip box; Click the IPX1 raindrop test procedure on the operation panel. According to the national standard, the total flow of IPX1 drip box is 1-5 mm/min (± 0.5mm/min), and a 10-minute simulation test should be conducted;
7. After the test, the system alarm shall be released, and then the door of the box shall be opened, the sample shall be taken out, and the water drops on the sample shall be wiped dry with a rag, and the sample shall be taken to the test department to check whether there is water ingress and other problems.
IPX2 raindrop test operation skills:
1. After plugging in the power switch, press the red button on the operation panel to start the control system; Then connect the water pipe for IPX12 drip box;
2. The testing machine shall be placed on the flat ground, and the movable casters at the four corners of the bottom of the testing machine shall be fixed to prevent the displacement of the testing machine during the testing process;
3. Place the sample on the turntable; Bind and fix the sample on the turntable with a tie to prevent the sample from shifting during the test and causing incorrect test values;
4. Adjust the height of the turntable so that the distance between the test sample and the needle is 200mm;
The turntable shall not rotate during the test, but the sample shall be inclined 15 ° on two mutually perpendicular planes, and the four inclined planes shall be tested for 2.5 min each;
5. On the operation panel, select the IPX2 drip test program and start the IPX2 drip box; Click the IPX2 drip box procedure on the operation panel. According to the national standard, the IPX2 drip box should be simulated for 10 minutes;
6. After the test, the system alarm shall be released, and then the door of the box shall be opened, the sample shall be taken out, and the water drops on the sample shall be wiped dry with a rag, and the sample shall be taken to the test department to check whether there is water ingress and other problems.
Can other water sources be used for waterproof test?
When preparing for IP waterproof test, tap water should be used. Especially for IPX1 — 4 waterproof test device, the diameter of the test needle used in the test device is basically only 0.4mm. If the water source with sundries is used, the nozzle of the testing machine will be blocked and the test value will be affected.
There are some small details that need to be noticed during IPX12 drip box:
1. During IPX12 test, the tested shell is not placed at the center of the turntable, and the eccentricity (the distance between the axis of the shell and the axis of the turntable) is 100 mm.
2. During the IPX2 test, the table supporting the shell does not rotate. If the user is testing and the table is rotating, this is not up to the standard.
