What are the dustproof testing machine

The dustproof testing machine is also called sand dust test chamber, dustproof test chamber and other different names. It is used to detect the IP dust-proof level of products under the condition of free fall of dust

First of all, there are 6 categories of dust test, namely IP1X dust test ball, IP2X dust test finger, IP3X dust test probe, IP4X dust test line and ip56x sand dust test box. They are applicable to the detection of samples of different sizes.

Secondly, the dust-proof tester has a higher dust-proof grade of ip56x, which is applicable to the dust-proof test of products of grade 5 or 6. From the perspective of subdivision, it can be divided into three types of instruments with different appearances, including double door dust-proof box, walk-in large dust-proof box and conventional single door dust-proof box.

During the test of the dust-proof tester, the medium used is dry talcum powder. Before use, it can only be used after being filtered through a square hole metal wire sieve. The diameter of the metal wire is 50um, and the size of the sieve hole is 75um. It should be noted that the powder consumption is 2 kg per cubic meter.

What are the measuring parameters of sand dust test chamber:
First of all, the sand dust box can be used for 1-6 different types of dust detection, including IP1X dust proof test ball, IP2X dust proof test finger, IP3X dust proof test probe, IP4X dust proof test line and ip56x sand dust test box.

For example, when the test sample is used as the sand dust test chamber ip56x, the parameters it needs to measure are various parameters that can measure its dust concentration, time test, dust spraying time, pressure indication, etc. This measurement parameter is somewhat different, mainly based on the user’s measurement requirements for the instrument.

When using the sand dust test chamber, it should be noted that the dust should be dry talcum powder and filtered through a metal square hole sieve. The instrument is required to have a wire diameter of 50um and a mesh size of 75um. The amount of talcum powder is 2kg/m3.

Introduction to standards and methods of dustproof testing machine:
1. Clean the sample shell and try to avoid dust being brought into the test box.
2. Place the sample in the middle of the interior. If power on test is required, turn on the sample power.
3. Pour the screened talcum powder into the box. Note that the dust consumption is generally 2 kg/m3. Close the box door.
4. To start the equipment, it is necessary to set the test parameters, such as power on time, vibration time, dust blowing time, etc.
5. After the test, wait for the dust to stand for 30min, then open the box door and take out the sample for inspection. Be careful not to open the door of the box immediately to prevent dust from directly gushing out of the box and causing environmental pollution in the laboratory.
