Spectroscopy is a method of identifying substances and determining their chemical composition and relative content based on their spectra. It is an analytical method established on the basis of molecular and atomic spectroscopy which called spectroradiometer. Contains three main processes: ①energy provides energy; ②energy interacts with the measured substance; ③produces the detected signal. There are many classifications of spectroscopy. The analytical methods established by the absorption of light by material particles are called absorption spectroscopy, such as ultraviolet-visible absorption spectroscopy, infrared absorption spectroscopy, and atomic absorption spectroscopy. Analysis methods established by the use of emission phenomena are called emission spectroscopy, such as atomic emission spectroscopy and fluorescence emission spectroscopy. Since the energy level distribution of atoms, ions, and molecules of different substances is characteristic, the energy of absorbing and emitting photons is also characteristic. The image drawn with the wavelength or wave number of light as the abscissa and the intensity of the absorption or emission of light of different wavelengths by the substance as the ordinate is called absorption spectrum or emission spectrum. The characteristic spectra of the substance in different spectroscopic analysis methods can be used for qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis based on the intensity of the spectrum. It can use LISUN LMS-6000 portable spectroradiometer to do test.
The molecular absorption spectrum produced by a substance absorbing electromagnetic radiation energy in the range of 200-760nm is called the ultraviolet-visible absorption spectrum of the substance, and the method of qualitative and quantitative analysis of the substance using ultraviolet-visible absorption spectrum is called ultraviolet -Visible spectrophotometry. The spectrum is produced by the transition of valence electrons in the molecule, so this absorption spectrum is determined by the distribution and combination of valence electrons in the molecule. It is widely used in the field of feed processing analysis, especially in the determination of the content of lead, iron, lead, copper, and zinc in feed. Fluorescence analysis is also a trace analysis method that has developed rapidly in recent years. The method is simple, fast, high sensitivity, precision and accuracy, and has a wide linear range and low detection limit.
