IS 302 (Part 1): 2008 Safety of household and similar electrical appliances: Part 1 general requirements

The standard IS 302 (Part 1): 2008 covers safety requirements for electrical appliances that operate with a voltage up to 250V for single-phase appliances and up to 480V for other appliances. It applies to household electrical equipment and similar applications, including appliances used in commercial settings, provided they pose no additional risks compared to household appliances.
